I've been working on the N3N for a while and thought that starting a thread on this model might be interesting to you and motivating for me to get going and finish it.
The airplane has nice lines and goes together well, but I would have had a very hard time with the float (and the sponsons, for that matter) had I not read papermate's beta build thread http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/a...il-1-34-a.html with pictures and suggestions for the float. I reviewed that thread after my first failed attempt. The second was a little better. Here is my third try on the float and supports.
As always, I am trying to improve my skills while learning more about this historic aircraft.
