Applying glue - trying Q-Tips and so far it works well

Applying PVA glue I have been trying Q-Tips and so far it works well. Put some PVA on an old plastic business card. Wipe the Q-Tip thru it and then apply. To me it helps control jow much I put on and distribute it evenly. Tried the "sticky fingers" Tip in this forum but so far I am liking the Q-Tips.

Any other good ideas?
