Warming up 2017 is a reverse engineered evarts class dde. Years ago I scratch built one from the 2 view drawings in a squadron signal pub. It turned out ok and has survived many children and puppy-zilla attacks but was losing small bits and pieces. It was time to "digitalize" her so that she could be mass produced. I used the same 2 view drawings and the model itself as reference material. I didn't want to repeat the USS Crowley that was the original design, (read have a hard time rendering models in camo schemes), so I went with middle of the road measure 22 I think, gray blue to a shear line and deck blue verticals. here is the prototype from at least 10 years back...
