Yes we revised the Globe!
A wonderful original Micromodel with a couple flaws now fixed!
Really its a wonderful model, Heighway outdid himself, I'm pretty sure it was based on a Thorpe design (same as the Gates of London). The way the flat pieces become the curved thatch roof is a work of art. The trouble was the Thatch basically looked like it had been scribbled on with a felt tip pen. It made your beautiful model look kind of unfinished or even worse, cartoony...
We remedied that with a darker photo-realistic thatch texture on all the roof pieces. The removable section was basically unfinished. the inside wall was almost blank, we added many details.
And of course whats a theater without seats, the original model did not have any, we added bench seating throughout.
and lastly, the base, it was square.
It made it look like you were trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. We fixed that too.
