I have been toying with an idea for a diorama of a Type VII U-boat being resupplied at sea. The original idea was to use a section of a German sub tender as the dio background; however, a couple of recent ebay purchases now leave me with a conversion set for a minelayer version of the U-boat. Only wanting to clutter up the shop with one sub dio, does anyone know if type-VII minelayers were used to resupply the hunter-killer version while 'on station?'
