IJN Mogami - Early 1942

I present Mogami.

I purchased her recently with several other kits including Hornet, Hiyru, and Weser. I usually buy multiple kits to save overall shipping. I thought I would bring Mogami up to the level of my 4 cruiser builds then proceed, but I got going and could stop. Took about 2.5 months to complete. I filled the hull with balsa, sanded then plated like the others. The fit on this kit is better than most of the Angraf's I've built. The masts are Styrene and the rigging in fishing line. I used toilet paper for the protective bags on the turrets. The funnel and for
structure were difficult to build but I am pleased with the results.
