Here's another automaton in the "magnificent" series.
Instead of legs it has wings.
My comments about the walking machine apply here. This time I was able to sort out some of the earlier problems. However, the crank had to operate the leg moving and the wings, which are quite heavy and create a lot of friction. Before it was completed I had to ease a few pieces apart to get to the crank because one of the cams had become almost round and slipped on the crank. I added quantities of strong glue and left it overnight. It now works and I hope I have solved the problem.....
