Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!
Taking ashort break from my Il-86 project, i decided to do another quick build model to regain my mood: DH Vampire from Thai paperwork 1/100 Minimodel line
i repainted the kit to VF301/RAL-G, assigned to No.605 Sqn. RAuxAF 'County of Warwick', currently displayed at the Midland Air Museum. The RAL-G, as well as RAL-L, had distinctive white upper nose with squadron's crest
The build is fairly quick, just around 5 hours from first cut to matt spray, though the repaint process took several additional hours. Paint job still need a bit tweaking in the nose and tailboom area and the underside colour turns out darker than i expected (i use FS35189/PRU Blue as stated by CMR). after coating with several layer of gloss coat, the model was given mild amount of wheatering then sprayed with matt fixative to create semi-gloss effect
