Boeing Model 306A

Alpha-build pictures of the first of my Boeing Model 306 series, the 306A airliner version. The 306's were Boeing's shot at a flying wing design. Not much information on them out there, but there are a few drawings. The Model 306 was to be a bomber which looks like a tailless B-15. I still need to finish the engine design on that one, then it'll be ready fro a test build. The 306A was the Airliner version, one I was going to call the Mainliner until I realized that was a United Airlines name, not a nickname for the plane. The 306A looks like a 307 Stratoliner fuselage hanging below the he flyin wing design. Since I already had a 307 fuselage, I started by modifying that. The pictures show a comparison between the 306A and one of my old 307 prototypes in the same scale (1/72). The 306B and 306C are one and two engined fighter versions, also to follow.

The 306A model was a proof-of-concept build for me. I still need to add missing graphics, and refine the ones that are there, as well as fix a couple of fit issues, and shorten the aft end of the engine nacelles. I'd like to make the forward engines with seperate cowls and engnes as well, like the 307 model.
