Are you running encryption software/device encryption/pgp/etc?

Just curious how many people here take the security of their Android phone seriously. Not just from theives and malware, but for anti-snooping as well?



It seems that the assumption is that only people who do shady things encrypt their devices and run security measures for them, but I for one, prefer not to have all of my internet browsing, emails, etc. being logged in some database while the powers-that-be in the US create a digital profile of me.



So just curious, what safety/encryption/anonmity/etc do you use on your devices?



VPNS? Tor Browsers? PGP software? Device encryption? Firewalls? Device Kill/Wipe?

Have you noticed any excessive data usage on the BlackBerry 10 platform?

I am seeing 2GB usage for average users using ActiveSync to Exchange Server

I have Holidays calendar on my Google calendar

But I can't get them to show up on my phone. I did at one time but they're not now. Not sure what I did. The Holiday calendar is selected in settings.

Anyone have reappearing Gmails?

I can delete or archive emails and they magically reappear hours or days later. I'm using K9 mail but I;ve also tried to delete them in the Gmail app.

I wanted a tab but am poor. Sprint is currently running a Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 for $49 with 2gb of data for $15 a month.

I'm in need of something strong for wood cutting/splitting. I'm poor so in turn money spent needs to be worthwhile.



Anyone here have any ideas. I may end up just suckimg it up and leaving my phone at home while working outside, but I may save up for this.
