Morane-Saulnier MS406, (old school - MM 1972)

Hello!

Having no time for paper models design I decided to take 'an easy model from II WW era' with me on holiday.

I considered P-39 and MS-406 MM models/scans from my 'models in waiting collection'.

Long time ago I have seen this Morane-Saulnier M.S.406 done (1972!) and it seemed do be a very simple one, so that is why I choose it leaving P-39 for next time.

My plan was to give a flavour of 'paper modelling' to my 10yrs old cousin and get ourself a bit of entertainment when not interrupted by my 6 mths baby boy and my wife!;)

The model is far away from today's fitting quality and printing standards, however I have been dealing with those things many times before;)
Also, the way some parts are designed seem to be a bit strange and to get them done right takes some time.

Please see some photos from this 'time journey':)

kind regards

Cybermac

USAF Bombardiers' Information File (BIF) published in 1945

Hi all,

Searching for details on planes I have built or I intend to build, I have come across this very interesting site, from my standpoint.

It gives a heap of details on the equipements of airmen, aircrafts etc., on the bombing tactics, evasive actions, parachute use, etc. in USAF circa 1945.

It sends you back in the 40's. Must be read with Glen Miller's Orchestra in background to be "In the Mood".

Item 000022 Detail

Have also a special glance at the file (BIF 9-21-4) that describes the risks for military men to meet native women. Seemingly more dangerous than a Flak shell !!:):)

Cheers.

Fifties Cars

Hi guys!

I found the site of a french designer who has a style of his own with a certain cartoon flavor. I don't know if his cutouts are available, but it's worth a look.

Lockheed F-104N Starfighter 1/100 Murphs Models

Hi Peopel, more one test from Murph's Models, at this time is a F-104N Starfighter. The original scale is 1/50, but I reduce to 1/100, is a nice model, the major difficult is air intakes. The NASA early scheme is very neat, remind a 70's civilian sport plane colors...
