F-111

Hey Everyone,

I've been looking for a digital download of an F-111 and any available variants of this aircraft. The only results I have found online are to purchase the pre-printed hard copy. I don't particularly don't care for these since I occasionally make mistakes, or my kids might spill something on the model. If that happens, then I don't have another one and I really don't care to pay to have another one shipped to me. The other reason is that I love to print some models out at a smaller scale than the original design so that they take up less space, and they can be tailored to fit in my collection.



I also often love to have more simplified versions of the airplanes because I am not always into adding tons of details like super detailed cockpits or landing gear and so on. The last reason is that a good family friend has a little 4 year old boy who, (for some strange reason), loves the F-111. He also likes the SR-71. I used Chiawats version of this, and it turned out fine and he just loves that thing. Anyway, does anyone know of a digital version of the F-111, that isn't super detailed and I can purchase online and download right away? Thanks for the help all!!

Hi all,



My name is Bob and, while I have extensive experience in modeling (plastic, stick-and-paper balsa aircraft, RC aircraft, and most recently, ship modeling), this is my first effort in paper models. A number of years ago one of my sisters gave my Dad a "Peace Tower" clock kit by Wrebbit for Christmas. I knew at the time that he'd never touch it and he never did. He died in 2012 and, as we were cleaning out his place, I took possession of the kit. It sat on my shelf until about two days ago when I finally opened it up and started working on it.



So here I am, looking for wisdom.

Hi there

Should I get obsessed with trying to cover the white edges where the paper joins, or is it something to live with as part of the hobby?



I have tried a few methods of covering the white up after the build. using thick watercolour paint was one but the colour matching is difficult and my hand was not too precise on a thin edge. Another was to pick pastel crayon up on the end of a cocktail stick and try and work that in. at least with this you can blend another colour in, but again you have to be carefull of smudging.



I would be interested to read other peoples views on this.

New guy in the paper stuff.

Hi guys!



I'm from finland and currently designing a boat wargame.

I decided to use paper models in the game to make sure that ship customization is open for players.



I'm not sure if i'm going to use the warhammer styled movement which means using a measurer for movement or that i would use a hexagon gaming board which means that the ship movement is easier to do but it's more limited.





I'm currently getting a multipurpose color laser printer for use. (I know inkjet is better for paper models) But i'll just have to roll with laser for now.

I'd appreciate any help designing a base model ship for testing.

The ships depending on class have turret bases on deck. Every ship is customizable by choosing which turret to attach to them.. The challenge of the game is based on slow and limited movement of the ships as well as ship size being a big factor on the game.



But for now i need help to create a very simple test ship which i can try out how the game rules would play out in a real situation.

I present to you my next model - BelAZ-7555.

The model I developed in 2012 for publishing Eagle ". Scale Model - 1:32.



A bit of history.

BelAZ (Belarusian: Беларускі аўтамабільны завод or БелАЗ, Romanized: Belaruski autamabilny zawod or BelAZ) is a Belarusian manufacturer of haulage and earthmoving equipment based in Zhodzina. The factory opened its door in 1948 and has produced over 120,000 vehicles for use in the Soviet Union.



BELAZ is a site for one of the largest Commonwealth of Independent States investment project. The factory finalized two of the three scheduled phases of the technical re-equipment and upgrades. The Quality Management System applied in research and development, fabrication, erection and after-sale service of the equipment complies with international ISO 9000 standards.

A little bit of a dump truck.

Haul trucks carrying capacity of 55-60 tons are designed for transportation of rocks in difficult mining conditions of deep pits, open cast mining of mineral deposits on technological roads under various climatic conditions (at ambient temperatures from -50 to +50 degrees).





This model is made from a magazine. The assembly began in 2014, graduated in 2015.

Cheat sheet?

Okay, I'm as up for cracking open my algebra II and Trig books from college as the next guy, but I'm still as comfortable using a crib/cheat sheet now as I was then. Haha



As I delve into designing my own parts and models I'm wondering if someone has come up with "for this radious conic of this height create this donut dimensions." Or something of that sort?

Building the MMS spacecraft

Started building the MMS spacecraft.



It is one of the most highly detailed and challenging models I've encountered and will take a while to build. You can even download the launch vehicle for the MMS as well.



I'm no professional builder, but so far, it's looking good.



The spacecraft was launched last month.
