Pissed off

:mad:Ok, Buy Now........give instructions, please take extra effort to package, last kit damaged you sent. Get home today and see I have a pkg @ office:).

Then upon being handed the pack:mad:, a padded envelope for a heavy thick card kit.......HMV USS Ticonderoga.

Now I know what someone is saying, thats the post offices fault. Well yea, I agree, however no where on the packaging does it say, do not set heavy objects onto, do not bend, do not fold:mad:.

2nd of all, when I go to the Post Office to ship a card model I have sold, I slip said kit into a flat box and have marked, FRAGILE and do not crush!

I asked this very individual not to ship in the usual manner they do, received a HMV Bismark that also was damaged and I just never said anything because of how hard it is to get them here.

What did I get, the same method, the whole corner from front to back bent all the parts in that section....:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Why is it I can order from GPM, across the Ocean and get w/o a scracth on any of the kits, yet I can not get 1 single kit from 1 state away VA w/o it geting FUBAR. No I am not a happy camper today, my Mommy always did say, Son, you just can't fix stupid, and not puting this in a box to ship, is just stupid. If I step on someone's toes, tough tit.

Now I have to go through the dog and poney show to get a refund through Pay-Pal:mad::mad::mad::mad:

So no more kits from this seller for me, I will order from Poland and pay the extra postage to get them damage free........oh yea, they use a box with each kit wrapped in card............ go figure.

Uploaded some new models

Hey all. Just wanted to let you know I uploaded files today for the U.S.S. Commandment, U.S.S. Comanche and U.S.S. Defiant (Tholian Web Version). There are build threads for all these models. They are currently awaiting approval.

Thanks.

Kamyanets Castle

A few months ago I ordered a few kits from Paper Models in Ukraine. Mr Orel replied saying that he was expecting a new kit. I asked him to postpone the order so the new kit could be sent with my original order.

Almost as soon as the kit arrived I started making it. From the start I had problems - some were so basic, it seemed as if no one had made the model - including the designer. For this reason, I didn't start a thread (I wasn't sure it would be completed) I also emailed papermodels. Mr Orel did reply, but I sent a few more emails but go no reply. I started checking their website to see if the model had been added. After a few checks and no kit I checked again and this time got a response saying the site didn't exist.

Does anyone have any info on this?

So, the kit doesn't appear to have been advertised - does this mean that my kit is the only one arround? If so perhaps I shouldn't have made it.

Sorry for the long introduction. After a great deal of trial and frustration, the model was finished and I was surprised how good it looked considering all the problems. See the extra bit in the second photo

The castle, as you will have guessed, is in the Ukraine and is one of the best known historical sites. The scale is 1:150 and is about three feet long (90cm approx).

Cheers

Mike

Bi-planes in 1/200

The first to show is FG's Siemens Schuckert, originally 1/46, now shrunk to 1/200.

The props are rotatable and rigging has been considered but I would

like to just leave it for now. This tiny bird is very colourful and fun to build.
