Hello from FSA0033
Hi Everyone,
Hopefully I'll find some good designs and try my hand at this project. I'm very interested in paper-modeling as well as scale engine craft. Love to fly.

First book on paper modeling?
A friend recently sent me this link to a very interesting blog post on what is probably the first book on designing paper models, Papyro-plastics, or the art of modelling in paper, from 1824.
52 Weeks of Historical How-Tos, Week 46: How to Make Paper Models | Echoes from the Vault
It's too bad there aren't more images from the book, but perhaps one of our Scottish paper modelers could go by the library and make some copies?

Folding doll house
From the Open House Miniatures come the Folding Doll House. I chose to mak it in the small version - 2cm height and width when folded (this is roughly 0.8").

I made changes to the cover / backbone section a little bit compared to the original assembly.

Paper Buses, Trains, and Trucks
The Canadian Public Transit forum has a lounge section with several threads on buses, trains, and now a new one on trucks. I know RunwayOneSixRight was looking for trains, so maybe some in there will do. Most are very simple, the emphasis seems to be on graphics. You also (unfortunately), need to be a member to see most images. Transit Lounge - Canadian Public Transit Discussion Board
I found this site and joined a while back when I discovered that someone there had done some models of buses from my local transit system.

If you're still working on a repaint, don't stop. We can always have a part 2.
I'm also gonna start releasing them to the wild, including the bundle.
Yoteman, J.Bowden, Knife and Macsongli don't buy any until after the contest. The winner is gonna get the bundle.
